BJP should keep away from TRS.

BJP leadership seems to be not having any clarity on the future nor in improving its prospects in Telangana. Why does it has to support the bandh call given by KCR? It is clearly evident that people in Telangana are looking for some good alternative to KCR. KCR couldn’t get Telangana nor he wants Telangana. It is only BJP which has inclination towards Telangana (We know the reasons and BJP's anti-minority vote bank politics)

There is a possibility that BJP led NDA might form the government in Centre. In such a case, it mean that there will be a positive vote for BJP in Telangana too. By showing indications that it will have alliance with TRS, it will have major dent in its prospective bank. BJP should fight on its own for long-term benefits even if it mean sacrificing the short-term benefits.

To YSRCP/Jagan fans …

You first said Eenadu is against you. Some believed. Then you said whole mainstream media in state is against you. People believed. Then you said, National Media is against you. People believed.

You said Opposition is corrupt and you are not.

You said Congress High Command is against you.

CBI is against you.

ED is against you.

High Court is against you.

Supreme Court is against you.

And do people believe? I guess people would have been laughing by now.

Whole world will be against to baddies. Don’t you guys know that? Is your leader a saint? Don’t tell that because everyone is corrupt, your leader has to be freed. If Supreme Court is corrupt, your leader would have bribed the judges by now. We have seen Gaali Janardhan Reddy bribing the judges for bail. Bribing the officials or threatening the reluctant officials is your modus-operandi. Isn’t it?

So, because Supreme Court is not corrupt, you want to paint it as corrupt?

Greatandhra.com journalism standards

Most of the Telugu Netizens know the worst journalism standards of Greatandhra.com and the “kujili” of its editor Arikatla Venkat Reddy towards one political party in Andhra Pradesh. There were many web-sites which exposed the “copy-paste” king Arikatla Venkat Reddy. The editor/authors of the site used to lift the articles from the Bollywood gossip sites and used to “search-replace” the names of the actors of Bollywood with the ones of Telugu Film Industry.

Here is another example of the lowest and worst quality journalism of Greatandhra.

The below article appeared on 8th October 2012 with the headline “Can Sharmila make up for her husband?”. If you think that the article is about Y S Sharmila and her husband Anil Kumar Sharma, then have a look at the contents of the article.

GreatAndhra_Journalism Standards

Ok, got confused? Yes, the great GreatAndhra says that Y S Jaganmohan Reddy’s wife is Y S Sharmila. If you think that that is just a typo, then read further lines. Through out the article, they meant that Y S Sharmila is wife of Y S Jagan. Surely, this can’t be a case of typo. It is just sheer ignorance of the authors. I think, I should say dumbos instead of authors.

After 30 minutes, they corrected the article and came up with the below article.

The point here…how can the authors be such stupid to draft a articles like the one mentioned above. Now, decide yourself for the nth time. Is Greatandhra.com worth reading?

Hyderabad Stars in Olympics

Sania Mirza, Saina Nehwal, Gagan Narand, Jwala Gutta, Parupalli Kashyap, Ashwini Ponnappa. What is common among them? They are all Hyderabadis.

Why Hyderabad has the biggest names and prospects? This is because of the big push given to sports by N. Chandrababu Naidu. N Chandrababu Naidu, then CM of Andhra Pradesh built the brand out of Hyderabad and showcased what an able CM can transform the state from 23rd position to 2nd position in terms of all the indexes of Growth. Under his leadership, Sports Infrastructure of International Standards were developed in Hyderabad. Many Indoor stadiums came up in different parts of city along with main stadiums in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. Chandrababu Naidu also has alloted land to Pullela Gopichand Badminton Academy which is now a premier training academy for Badminton.(Of course, the next CM Y S Rajasekhara Reddy taken back much of the land of the Badminton Academy for the obvious reasons)

It would be great if the present government also encourage sports and take the sports scenario of India to the next level.

Copy-Paste work in Economic Times

Times of India and Economic Times are the worst of the mainstream media when it comes to quality in writing. It seems the writers/columnists there fill up some junk by Googling or copy-pasting from other media websites, rehash them and finally deliver it before the DEADLINES. As in every copy-paste work the errors, mostly contextual, creep in and go unnoticed. But what about the editors or editor assistants who has to fool-proof the articles? I guess even they sign/authorise such articles under deadline pressure. Here is one such copy-paste work I found in Economic Times’ website. The article compares the cash reserves of the Top 4 IT companies of India. The data presented here is in Rupees and the Dollar data crept in HCL Technologies.

Dumbos@work

This is the medium-size advertisement appeared in Eenadu for Suvarnabhoomi Developers. Check out the word CARRIER in the advertisement. It should be CAREER. This is the problem when you appoint dumbos in work. Clearly, this is a case of ignorance and negligence. The writers must have depend on the spell-checker of Office Suites. The word CARRIER has no spelling-mistake therefore the word processors did not catch the mistake. But what about the contextual meaning?

Social Service is a not a fashion, dude!

You come across people who campaigns for SAVE THE TIGER.
People who ‘teaches’ you Traffic Rules.
People who asks you to follow ‘Earth Hour’.
People who campaigns for ‘Green Peace’
People who volunteers to teach the children in Slums.

What I observe among this section of people is…they are not really serious about the Social Service. It is kinda ‘cool’ thing for them. It makes them ‘cool’ among their peers.

Practically speaking, why do we people in India should follow Earth Hour? Our country-side still lingers in darkness for more than 12 hours a day.
And why should you go out and teach the kids in slums? If you are really serious about the education for poor, take steps to revive the Government Schools. And it is also so simple task. Just pick 200 to 300 employees and ask them adopt a government school and make them join their kids in Government Schools. And you demand the proper teaching and attendance from the teachers. This way, the standards in Government Schools will go up. The system of Kendriya Vidyalayas are already a proven example of this. There the kids comes from families with good background of Education and parents stress for good education and more often interact with the teachers.

Ironically, the so called activists enroll their kids in good Private Schools and the preaches about the Social Service.
How can there be Social Service without a Sacrifice?

A stupid column by Chetan Bhagat

When you are a columnist on contract with a leading newspaper and you don't' have an idea of what to write simply run a poll on Facebook and write an analysis on the result of it. Simple!!! Isn't it? May be that sounds simple but that is a stupid way of filling the columns in the newspapers.

Chetan Bhagat, famous writer and also a columnist in Times of India ran poll in Facebook asking Netizens to vote for their choice of next PM. His options are Rahul Gandhi, Narendra Modi and None of the above. And he filled up the column analysing the two Personalities along with the poll results. Surely he is inclined towards Narendra Modi, going by his tweets and his past columns and he repeated the same in the latest column also. While it is no wrong on being bias towards your choice of leaders, it is idiotic to take up the poll results on Facebook as precedence. Let us hope, the inspirational writer comes up with Columns he is best at and which are close to his motto - 'Entertain and Change'
.

Caste-factor attribution to CBI Investigation

There was a time when YSRCP leaders attributed Caste Bias to CBI Joint Director Lakshmi Narayana. They related him to TDP leader Payyavula Keshav. Finally that proved to be false. But when I typed JD Lakshmi Narayana in Google to get his profile, Google auto-suggest feature suggested the Top-Searches. One of the top-search is JD Lakshmi Narayana Caste. See the below image. The question is why the people of AP (or India) stooped to a level of attributing caste even to honest officers like Lakshmi Narayana.

Does Botsa Satyanarayana has answers?

Telugu Desam Party had posed some questions (See the image below) in the recent protest in Vizianagaram against his alleged role in Liquor Mafia. Ironically, he is projecting himself as a saint and rest of the party heads as corrupt. Does he have answers to TDP Questions.

NDTV - Deteriorating Standards

NDTV is a brand which changed News broadcasting in India. Off late, its brand value has been getting deteriorated gradually. Its editor Barkha's association with power brokers like Nira Radia shows the standards of the channel. In Andhra, T S Sudhir, who when worked with NDTV was totally biased towards Y S Jagan. He is very close to Y S Jagan and often visits latter’s home. Lately, NDTV is looking over the EDITORIAL BOARD of Sakshi TV as part of a business deal. Everyone knows that there is no Editorial Policy for Sakshi group except for the self-exaggeration of its owner Y S Jagan. So, what are the business interests of NDTV with Sakshi TV which is established with illegal money? Is that a good journalism standard? Only T S Sudhir can answer.

Botsa's Liquor Mafia coverage by Eenadu

Eenadu has done it again. Whenever it comes up with a creaking story, it sure creates ripples in the general public. Such is the reiability of the news covered by India's 5th largest news daily. Today, it broke the Liquor Mafia run by Botsa Satyanarayana in Vizianagaram town. The newspaper published the proofs of the binami business run by the P.C.C Chief.

Wonder if Botsa starts his own newspaper à la Y.S.R to defend his misdeeds.

Akhilesh Yadav vs Rahul Gandhi

Akhilesh Yadav, son of Mulayam Singh Yadav seems to stealing the thunder from Rahul Gandhi in Uttar Pradesh elections. As per the media reports, Akhilesh is pulling more crowds and his mean speeches is different from of the run-of-the-mill speeches. Well, is that the real scenario or just media projection – will be known in next 3 days when UP results will be out.

Personally, I wish Rahul scores more than everyone else (including Elephants!!!). UP should get rid of caste-driven politics.
