Why do we need a consultant for political strategies?

Politics is considered to be a domain for serving people by getting into power. Politicians try to get to power by showcasing their administrative skills, their policies and the promises they make to people. It is not a company where a promoter puts some Capital and then hire some consultants to improve the business. The hiring of Prashant Kishor by different political parties in India erases the thin line between Companies and the Political Parties. Most of the Indian political parties are launches and run by the image of one person. It is the incompetence of their heirs which is reason behind the emergence of new career called Political Strategist/Consultant.

In Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan, head of YSRCP, hired Prashant Kishor to help him  win the 2019 general elections. If Jagan is truthful to public service there would not be a need for any consultant. The genuineness in the thoughts and action of a person is enough for the people to identify the true leader. The collective intelligence of people will never go wrong. If Jagan just aims at power, people will keep him away. He should seriously take up the issues of the public and fight for it. What Jagan doing now is mudslinging and personal attacks which is not recommended for a aspiring politician.

Audience can never go wrong!

Salman Khan's words that Bahubali was a blockbuster only because of maturity of audience in North India to accept South movies is totally false. To negate his statement, there are ample movies from South which were failures in Hindi belt.

His words that South Indians won't watch Bollywood movies as they are loyal to their stars is also false. Bollywood movies won't get acceptance in South because of many reasons. The major reason is lack of pan-India appeal like that of Bahubali. And other major reason being lack of quality dubbing. Bollywood music also has lot of shades of North Indian music with Punjabi accents. Bollywood should get out of such things and focus on getting pan-India acceptance.

Bollywood also remakes most of the South movies. It is obvious that such remakes won't get new audience in South.

There are many Bollywood movies like Laagan, PK, Krish which has pan-India appeal were run away hits in South.

Bollywood stars should introspect and produce quality movies instead of blaming the audience.

The Pipe politics

Andhra Pradesh politics have taken a interesting turn because of a small pipe which has created a lot of flutter. The issue of water getting into a building is a small issue. Even many Corporate houses and top architectural designed buildings face it in Monsoons. But the way the opposition YSRCP reacted to it as if the whole capital is in danger is avoidable. With the help of its own media and other supporting media houses, YSRCP has started a massive attack on the ruling government by portraying the issue big.

As in any case, they got their due in the form of massive counter attack. Government quickly ordered a CID enquiry and showed to the world that it is just an issue with a pipe and the pipe cut has been attributed to a conspiracy, which is yet to be proved.

The media has given a lot of undue attention to Amaravati issue and ignored the real issue of Hyderabad getting into trouble because of rains. Media tried to play to their 'real' bosses dictat in deciding the priorities.

YSRCP should concentrate on real issues and win people's heart. By resorting to such lame games, it is going to dig its own grave.

KCR promised free fertilisers.

KCR has announced free fertilisers to farmers from next year. The announcement came almost one and half year ahead. The question is why there is a need to such a advance announcement? Is this the announcement to contain the growing resent among the different sections of society? Or to contain the BJP's perceived growth? Or to contain the Reddys' aggression?
